Efficient Group chief economist Dawie Roodt says Eskom workers should be getting salary reductions and not receive rewards for the power utility’s recent improved performance. Eskom is currently locked in salary negotiations with unions representing staff in its bargaining unit, which makes up about two-thirds of its workforce.
