uMngeni Municipality deputy mayor Sandile Mnikathi said preliminary SAPS information shows Pryor was taken from his home before his vehicle was set alight. “This heinous crime has left our community reeling. We are reminded of the fragility of our safety and the need for constant vigilance,” said Mnikathi. He said early indications point to a possible link with a disgruntled former employee, though police are still investigating.
